 Look at the art momma had commissioned of me!  Its by Amy Greenbank.  We have been a fan of her work for some time and when she had some Lisa Frank Commissions open up we grabbed one right away.

My Big Day Care Adventure

 Momma came home Monday night with the energy of a squirrel on crack.  She shaved my face, brushed my hair and trimmed my bangs.  

She pulled out the diaperbag, food, care instructions and an outfit.

Then she dunked me in the sink for a bath.   RUDE!

5 minutes later as I was completely dry I did feel like a brand new pupper.

The next morning Momma put Cora to bed, left me outside, then loaded me up in the car and said we were going bye bye.

We ended up at the Rockin' L Crossing Facility.

I smell poodle!!!!

Then momma left me.  She had my tracker attached to my diaper bag.  Momma why did you leave?  The kind staff informed me I was in daycare.  Which is kind of strange considering we have a personal doggy nanny but....

I found later they sent all the photos of my adventure to mommas phone. 

This is me with Gracie....different than aunt gracie.  ironically this daycare has a gracie too.  Fun times!

We even played dress up.  BOO!

I was all wags when momma picked me up and fell asleep on the drive home.  I had a blast.

Once home momma checked my diaper bag and I got a report card. They said i was happy and playful....yep.  I made new friends....yep.  Had my nails and ghost pics done.....yep.  I love this place!  I hope I can come visit again.  

Rockin' L Crossing thank you for taking such great care of my girl!  Its the small details that made her stay nice and put my mind at ease!

A Case of the Hives and A Mystery Bump

One evening we were sitting there and momma saw a raised spot on my cheek...next thing ya know i was flipped over with the flashlight on my face.  rude!

I was flipped once again and more hives on my chin.

Then momma found a small mole thats not a black head...she checked.  So now we are keeping an eye on this.

Rocking L Crossing Nail Trim

On a furry early October morning we left far too early and set out north to Rockin' L Crossing.  It was for my paw-ti-cure.  

 This place was simply beautiful.

Their sign reminded me of Aunt Gracie.

I was furry scared and hid under the bench.  

Then they took me back chopped all my toesies off and then returned me to mother.

My hair is a frightful mess.  Poppy was bitter as all get out cause she had to stay in the car. 

Lord have mercy that was rough stuff. 

Don't know if I will ever recover.

Im awful hungries.  Can we go home now.

MOTHER!  Home!  HUNGRIES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry Im not me when im hungry.

Rockin' L Crossing Pet Lodge

 Similarly I found an email for the Rockin' L Crossing Pet Lodge with my name on it too.  See.  But mine has more than a paw-di-cure.

But mine has more than a paw-di-cure.

Seems there was a previous email stating that there were events and momma's been wantingh me to pawticipate in such events and have a day out.  Weird.  Anyhow my date is for the 21st and that is.....oh ghost pics.  cool. 

Staying out in a fenced yard in the country....I guess that could be cool.

 Welp...I found this in the emails.  Mother did me dirty.  She signed me up to go to a place to have my paw-di-cure done.  I dont like paw-di-cures and I dont like going places.  Really Mother!  

I may have to pee in her shoe.

Update on the Girls: Cora

 Cora Cora Cora....my tiny girl, my butter bean, my tiny tina, my Coco Bean....ie weenie!  Shes been doing well on her anxiety meds.  Shes still anxious in the car, but not licking seats anymore.  She is coming up to me more in the house and allowing pets.  I still cant catch her for things or request her to come to me but shes seeking me out.  I love that!  She is such a sweet yet salty girl.  But I love her so much.

Updates on the Girls: Poppy

 Poppy what can I say....she is the little heartbeat at my feet....my ride or die....my poppy-sicle....my girlie pop....my happy.  Nothing major to report.  Health is great, has a fiestyness of a 3 year old dog, and is my reason for getting up.  There has been one small behavoiral issue thats come up.  When i empty my cup of ice or put an ice tray in the drain board and small ice chunks hit the metal sink she freaks out.  Shaking, panting, tail tucked, running, hiding, attached to my side freaking out.  So at suppertime when i get new ice in my cup she is trying to get me to hold her and once we get to the chair shes here.  wrapped up and under a pillow for comfort.  

Hopefully this will go away soon.  i hate seeing her scared. but until then I will comfort her and love her.

Ummm....Well....Yea

 Its been a hot minute since we updated the blog.  I havent been myself.  Lifes been crazy, my minds been crazy, and well this got pushed to the back burner.  Im going to update as much of the past few months as I can and blog better in the future.  Right now Im trying to turn some things in my life around and well some things in life got turned around I wasnt expecting.  But its for the good.  So here is to progress over perfection and making the best of what we have.
