Getting Reflective

Doggy Nanny and Grandpa are always helping me out.  They know that we go out golf carting most evenings sometimes staying out later than expected.  Since the golf cart doesn't have lights they found reflectors for us!

And I must say these reflectors just make the golf cart look fabulous!!!

Bark in the Park and the Duck Pond

9-5-17 The local animal control was hosting a huge event at Mike Miller Park.

They were doing vaccines, microchipping, raffles, and pet contests.

We arrived and we made sure to read the rules.

Then found a quite spot to sit and get ready.  Gotta get in the zone!

We saw lots of pups lining up for the vet services.  Good job!  Gotta get those vaccines and microchips done!

I met lots of adorable pups and friendly hoomans.  I practiced my manners, although I couldn't quite contain myself with a few hoomans....but they didn't mind.

We watched all the doggies strut their stuff for each contest, and there were a lot of talented doggies.  Then it was my turn.  I took my bell.

*DING*

I didn't win but the pups that did win performed quite well!  Congrats to all who pawticipated.

After we left the Bark in the Park we drove all around Mike Miller park and found this quiet little pond.  We found a place to sit next to the water and watch the ducks.  It was amazing to see them float.  One duck kept sticking his head under the water, he sure was brave.  Not sure I could do that!

Ahh Relaxing!

What is up here?

A poodle size sittin spot!

I do believe we shall have to come back and bring duck treats for them.  The little vending machine was  empty when we visited.

Training with Live Stock

Ever since Miss Kim told me and momma bouts the AKC Farm Dog Certification, I have been looking efurrywhere for farm animals to meet.  The first ones I found were the Rosin Horses.  They are sweet creatures.  We sniffed noses, then I did my sit, down, stay while momma petted them.  As momma put it I used my manners very well.  :)

A few days later in the other Rosin pasture I found some cows.  They were scare of us but one got brave and came close.  We walked up to the fence, sniffed noses and she tried to lick me.  I didn't care for that and backed up.  She might have licked the curls right off my head!  But then momma put me in a sit/stay and gave the cow a pat on the nose.  I held my sit stay and as momma went to give me a treat the cow tried to lick momma on the arm.  BOL!  That would have been funny. I bet she would have screamed furry loud.  You all remember how I scared momma by licking her toes after I escaped my playpen one night don't you?

Next I found some goats on Elva Loop Rd.  They were curious about me but would not come close.  I just gave a sniff from afar.  Catch ya next time!

Momma says she is proud I could be calm around livestock and focus on my training.  I'm one step closer to my FDC title!!!

Pee Ess: We always keep safety of all animals as top priority.  All livestock is safe in their fenced pastures.  We only approach if all animals seem calm and curious.

#ChewyInfluencer #Bloopers

So as you know momma has a problem with taking a few too many pics.  Well sometimes it pays off and she catches a few cute shots.  Like this one from my #ChewyInfluencer photoshoot.  She was trying to get a shot of me chewing my True Chews but caught me licking my lips instead.  #Raspberries

On this one we tried to get all artsy with the Natural Balance (get it, natural...tree  balance...parkour) but it didn't end up working, the sun was in the wrong position for the hole in the tree and kept casting a glare on the bag.  I think its still cute though.  And I actually had fun getting inside the tree!  #Parkour

#ChewyInfluencer Review True Chews Chicken & Apple

Welcome Back!  It's TRUE, it's TRUE, I have a second Chewy.com #ChewyInfluencer review for you.  I am a poet and didn't even know it! BOL

I am taste testing the True Chews - Chicken and Apple treats.  Let's begin with the key benefits:
True Chews is dedicated to providing your dog with only 100% natural treats which are proudly made right here in the USA. All of their treats are made with 100% farm-raised protein and contain no artificial flavors, preservatives, or animal by-products. These savory Premium Sizzlers are your dog's idea of a great morning!

    Made with real chicken
Delicious aroma & texture dogs love
    Convenient re-sealable bags for freshness
100% sourced and made in the USA
No grains, corn, wheat, soy, artificial flavors or fillers

Now for the taste test:
They smell divine!  It has a strong scent of apple.  *Chomp*

These are not your typical soft dog treats.  They are more of a chewy jerky.  These treats are perfect if you want a longer lasting treat and want to sit and savor the moment!

I highly recommend these treats for pups of all sizes.  If you are a very petite canine, momma said these could easily be broken apart by a hooman.

These are the perfect snack for a crisp cool fall morning.  I took some up to day care wif me this week and Aunt Gracie concurs, they are NUMMY!

Chewy is an awsome company to work with, they have excellent customer service, super quick shipping and every order comes with an exclusive chewy.com box! Look what I did to mine this month.  I turned it into a trick prop.  This will be for my intermediate title.  I have to pull an object (box or bag, pups choice) at least 5 feet on a string.  I'm also trying to get Gracie to get inside so I can drag....erm...bring her home with me BOL!!!!

Disclaimer: I don't advocate puppy-napping, it could *technically* put you on the naughty list wif Santa Paws.  #DoNotTryThatAtHomePups

Recreating my Puppy Photo

One of momma's favorite photos of me as a wee tiny fuzzy pup is this one.  I was running so fast to catch Aunt Gracie that I got all 4 paws off the ground.

Well recently momma caught me again going so fast I got all 4 paws off the ground.

Nailed it!

#ChewyInfluencer Review - Natural Balance Venison Tender Cuts & New Trick Gear

I have been looking over the trick list wif momma and seeing what trick to learn next for my Intermediate Title.  One that caught my attention is the wobble board.  It helps a pup gain confidence and balance on uneven surfaces.  Well my wobble board and my Chewy.com influencer box arrived the same day (That Fedex person is working overtime!!!) so I thought what could be better than to test these items together.

Before we wobble into this review, please take a moment to see the key benefits.

After a day of play refuel with these meaty and delicious snacks.
    Made with high-quality venison
No corn, wheat, artificial flavors or colors
Great for training or as a healthy treat
Great for puppies and adult dogs
Natural soft and moist treats your dog will love

Here is my reivew:
These treats are soft and can be broken up to make training sized treats.

Sniff Test

Here I go, paws up....whoa!  Ok, I think I got this.

Treat please.  Thank you momma!!!

Momma said I am going to be a wobble board champ with just a few more training sessions, especially using these treats. They helped me focus.

I highly recommend these as an every day treat or for training.  They smell fabulous and taste even better.  Momma recommends them because they are not crumbly and helped me focus on training.  So if you are in the market for a new treat check out Chewy.com for all your treat needs!
