So Momma was on her way home and a red truck was coming across all lanes of traffic blind. He pulled out in front of a school bus and momma t boned him. This is from Miss M. She arrived on scene just as momma was hauled off in the ambulance.
See a man they call two chains (that momma works with) was right behind momma as they leave at the same time and happen to be going the same way since momma was getting groceries. He flipped his soul around and parked behind taco bell and was a comfort in a moment of terror for momma. Seeing a familiar face grounded her.
Once at the hospital momma had several panic attacks. They ran tests, assessed her pain, and got her logged into the system.
There was hilarity that ensued when Doggy Nanny Miss M and her boyfriend Mr R tried to extract us from the house. Momma didn't know if she would be in the hospital long so she asked for us to be taken to daycare. another post on that soon. But Doggy nanny picked momma up after the hospital released her and drove us all home. It was weird not having a car. We stayed at the house for 2 solid weeks with no bye bye rides.
Soon after momma got a rental to get to and from work.
It was super fancy.
We got to go one time in the rogue. But not a fan as it didn't have any beds or blankies for us.
I have to stand up to do so and barely reach.
Weeks later after insurance found momma not at fault and got her the settlement sent out she went car shopping. It was a long day she said. She went to one dealership but couldn't get a good deal and the car just didn't fit her needs. Then she decided to make a drive across town to a new dealership. The first car she tried didn't work....had the bells and whistles but just not her vibe. Then the sales person suggested a Hyundai and momma said the moment she sat in the drivers seat it was like goldilocks....it was JUST right! Room, bells, whistles, everything you could imagine. Then began the process of negotiation. She was worried but after about an hour and a half she got the payment where it needed to be. She called Doggy Nanny and Uncle M to come check it out to make sure it was all on the up and up and they agreed. So momma signed the paperwork and well thats how....
She is "Pearl Black" and has multicolor glitter when the sun shines on her. There were "27's" all over the place momma knew it was a sign from grandma Cindy in heaven. Then on the pick up day (she had to return the rental before getting pearl home) there were a pack of geese in the parking lot. Momma always called Lucy....Lucy-Goose. Another sign in her eyes.
Here is the backseat all set up.
So far we both love the car!
Then before dozing off we made this for mommas desktop at work. Its officially the Crestie Crew Mobile.
