Well this week was full of "SHAKE" ups! To my heartache Vader puppy couldn't make it. His mommy wasn't feeling well, and I hope she feels better soon. Harley was back in class with a new fur cut and he looked smashing! Then two more Shih Tzu's showed up. Oh boy new puppies!!!! They missed one of their Saturdays classes and came to our class for their make up session.
Welcome Silas and Sawyer. I could't help but stare at Silas, he had long black furs with small spots of white and dreamy eyes! I squirmed my way over, play bowed, shook my tooshie at him, and snuck in a puppy kiss!
Excuse me trainer? Did you just say your going to brush our toofers?
Well that was a weird experience to say the least. She stuck a piece of wet paper on her finger and rubbed it on our toofers. It did smell nice, like a vanilla cupcake. Seems while I was flirting with Silas the trainer was telling the pawrents all about grooming and how to get us puppies to enjoy the joys of at home grooming. They have to start small, go slow and keep the it positive. After grooming we learned sit with stay and down with stay. Then learned shake. After I had shake down, I started lifting both paws off the ground and that made momma furry excited. She said I did "Sit Pretty" or "Beg" all by myself. Oh boy! That led to many more treats!!!! I like that! The trainer commented that since I can do all of my tricks (even down) on a stool I should apply to be a circus poodle! I agree!!!! I love to preform and get treats.
Here is my official Puppy Class #5 photo.
One week left now till graduation and the AKC S.T.A.R. test.
I'm getting a little nervous now! Where is Mr. Lizard, I need a good chew session!
