Trip to Jacksboro Texas with a Stop in Windthorst

Another day another adventure.  We drove through archer county and found this lovely mural by @JaneFloats.  Its for a fine meat shop.  So colorful!

We kept tracking south....nothing but farm land.  so pretty!

We made it to Windthorst.  There was a beautiful Catholic church here.

They have this stunning grotto.

Momma can you zoom in on it?

Wow!  the stones up top are beautiful!

They also had this rock garden....and man this open field I bet it has lots of squirrels!

Shall we go home....or Jacksboro?

Lets fill er up and keep truckin'.

Windthorst is a furry small town.

But also had this big ol' cow!

Many miles of open road later....

We arrived in Jacksboro.  They have this fantasticly colorful sign denoting you have arrived.

And this stunning mural of the old west!

We saw taxidermied deer driving a convertible (sorry no pics) and many cute little neighborhoods.  But this one thing in particular caught my attention.  Its a Chili-Dog Car.  Like it has seats and a steering wheel and everything.

Post sight-seeing it was open roads back home and beautiful views.

Getting closer to home.

And we are back.  Good trip!
