Just a Poppy Things...

I am a gremlin on patrol...

...a lil bird over mommas shoulder...

...and just momma's baby!

Resting on Momma

Sometimes being held isn't enough and you need your shin resting upon mommas hand to feel the love!

Be sure to rotate as to not unevenly sleep on your ears.

Current Collar/Tag Setup

For everyday wear we only use our CSJ Creations (etsy) biothane collars with our "tiny" tags from Lucky Pet Tags.  Its worked well for us.  In the event we have to go in somewhere we have out matching biothane collars.

Unfortunately does mean our other collars are packed away but really does a dog need more than 2 collars.  Especially when these are so soft, easy to wear and easy to clean!

The Building Of A Nest - A Poppy Post

To build a proper nest you have to do things in a certain way.  Such as a little bit of this.

A dab of that.

A quick touch of that.

Just finishing up here.

And Plop!

And that is how you make a proper nest.

Oh snap.  Did I just hear the gate?  I better go bork.

Poppy

2022 K9 Influenza Vaccine Study - Visit 3

All too soon we got the text that the final visit was scheduled for July 12th.

The good news is that its just a visit for an exam and to turn in our books  No pokes.  YIPEE!!!

I think I heard our names be called.

Yes we are Lucy and Poppy.  Be right there!

We relayed the information that there were no issues with the second vaccine.  We have been quite happy and care free.  We were released from the trial and headed home.

Thank you Dr Roulliard for hosting and taking such good care of us.  It was a pleasure to meet and work with you and your staff!

2022 K9 Influenza Vaccine Study - Visit 2

June 28th momma got the text for the 2nd visit for the drug study with Dr. Roulliard.

When she arrived home from work she asked if we wanted to go bye bye.  We were a flurry with excitement.

She conveniently forgot to mention it was a vet appointment.

I was nervous.

But Lucy was cool as a cucumber as usual.

We told the Dogtor we had experienced no reaction to the vaccine, turned in our sheets for the first half of the trial and received our second dose.  Easy Peasy.  I just don't like being handled by strangers.  Notice the absence of my tail.  BOL

Once finished we loaded up in the Soul and headed fur home.

May squirrels, dogs and walkers were spotted and promptly borked.  The city remains safe from threat.

Upon arriving home Lucy passed out from all the excitement.
