After talking with the Easter Bunny the other day I decided to whip up a little treat for her when she stops by my apartment. Its got to be tiring preparing Easter baskets, filling and hiding all those eggs.
Its a special mixture of crunchy bones and jelly beans.
As we picked up our most recent batch of groceries from Walmart Pickup they handed momma a big reusable bag wif goodies! She got peaches, rice, a caprisun and I got MILK BONES!!!!! Thank you Walmart!!!!!
Last weekend when I went to visit the Easter Bunny I found this froo-er or Chuck-it as its officially called at Petsmart. It seemed like the perfect spring/summer toy and I love balls! Momma couldn't resist getting it for me. :)
Unpackaged it looks even more fun! Fresh tennis ball fuzz...what puppies dreams are made of!!!!
Man you should see how far it can chuck a ball! I was running all over the park.
In hindsight we didn't pick the best time to come to the park it was super duper hots in the sun. So I only fetched a few rounds before leaving the ball.....
....to find my own shady spot to relax.
As we got ready to head out of the park I noticed the little loops on the dog training bag and had a brilliant idea. Ta Da! Mystery solved on the use of these loops. Chuck-it-holder.
I was just minding my own business one evening at Doggy Nannys when outta no where a big snake appeared on grandpas wheelie box. I worried for our safety! I risked life and pom poms to save us!!!! (Thats the saying right?)
Anyway, when Doggy Nanny found me finishing him off she didn't seem happy I killed the snake. Turns out it was just oxygen tubing. Oops! #embarrassed
Lesson learned: Check wif Doggy Nanny to ensure creepy crawly isn't medical equipment before killing.
Oh boy! When I first heard the Easter Bunny would be hopping into my petsmart I was simply filled with joy! #easter2018 #Petsmart #PetsmartParties
Apparently I had to have a bath because I was "not smelling fresh as a Daisy" as momma put it. Drat!
We arrived right at noon.
We signed in and thankfully there was not a long line.
It was great to see Bunny again and we had a good little chat. We discussed the lack of Easter Egg hunts in the greater WF area. She said to make up for that she would make a special trip to my house on Easter Eve. Oh boy thats great just like Santa Paws! Thank you Bunny!!!!
Before we left I reminded momma of the Petsmart Exclusive coupon we received for todays event. I got some training treats (even though I am not low its always good to stock up on noms) and found this interesting little ball froo-er. Seems like the perfect thing to take to the park now that its warming up outside!!!!!
(Side note: there was a sweet lady sitting next to momma on the bench waiting for her doggie in the salon and had a good giggle at me and momma doing out mini photoshoot in da store. Spreading cheer where ever I gos.) (Side-side-note: momma has gotten good at this whole couponing/price matching thing and we are going to do a little tutorial soon so be watching for that.)
Got chicken topper for brekkie then got a bank bone for brunch. #happypoodle @firstbankweb
The afternoon didn't quite go as well unfortunately. Momma had a doctor appointment and I had to be kenneled. That made me sad. And momma pulled out my old grey crate that is escape proof. Drat! I did get a new Cet chew and treats to ease my suffering.
So momma was just sitting there selling her swans when BAM! Home Slowed at 6:49 pm. Luckily wif Daylights Savings Time that meant we had 1 hour of day light left to play wif. And ya know what we did?!?!?!?!?!?! Yep we golf carted to the park! This is me happy happy face!
I zoomied so much it made my leg sore. Not the "go stiff and cry about it" sore but I did favor it that evening. Momma says I have to not zoomie so much. Well when you get an unscheduled golf cart ride and trip to the park mid-week (Monday Evenings are mid week fur us.) it calls for celebrations!
Wednesdays! The first weekend of our week. We arose early to fetch da groceries and I tell ya the people brought some awful weird stuff out for us. Baby...like hooman baby food. Sliced cheeses (the cheese we use here is shredded). And 56 inks in addition to the normal products. Strange stuffs. Anyhoo we then stopped at Chick-fil-a for brekkie. Momma gots a burrito (yes she shared the eggies) and I got a milk bone. Paw-fect! Instead of taking the "H" exit we blew right by home and hit the fly over...and that only means one thing!!!!!! GOLF CART TIME!!!!!!!! Twice in one week. (Side note: due to mommas doctor appts and a bad headache we had missed 2 golf cart days, so 2 in a week made my tail go all wildly wiggly) First stop the park.
Listening to the neighborhood doggies bark. There have been some interesting things going on!!!!
Once we left the park we wandered aimlessly just enjoying the 50 degree day when I spotted something shiny!!!!
Momma, grabs it please.
Upon closer inspection its monies, a Susan-Dollar.
Oh my dog! I am rich!!!! I think I will use this to get me that lab puppy I have been hoping for.
Or at least put down a depo-sit on one. So guys should I get a yellow, black or chocolate labbie? Boy or girl? I have a name picked out and everything. KD's Once Upon a Stormy Night
