No Power, 2 Sherrifs and Gladys (POPPY ) Kravits is on the Case!

One afternoon just before momma was to arrive home our power went out.  Ehhh...didn't bother us too much.  We like the peace and quiet plus its not too hot.  So we just waited for momma to arrive home.  She arrived fed us and said lets load up and go driving!  

Once in the car we saw a sherrif.

Just as we were about to pull out a second one whizzed by sirens blaring.

They were checking on someone...Couldn't get any closer without lookin suspicious.  

Down the alley we saw this Oncor sign.

It says danger do not use.  And there is a work ticket inside.

Down in the 1500 Block there was a work convoy getting the repairs made.

So we went driving and exploring.  

Just as we turned back onto our street.  We went to text the landlords and they popped on and said "Powers Back".  Timing worked out perfecrtly!  We sure were tired from the drive and borking our heads off.

What?  I need a place to rest my head and still keep an eye on momma.

 

She also uses my tooshie as a pillow.  Yea and its not as soft as Lucys tooshie was but it works.

Found A Unattended Bowl Of Kibble

Oh boy!  I know this route...we is on the way to Doggy Nannys house!!!!! Look alive Pop!

Once we arrived I darted right for the dog food bowl....i smelled canned food and you know what...gracie didn't eat her lunch....so in an effort for it not to go bad....i ate it and all the kibbles too.  My tummy was round and full!  Here is a dRaMaTiC renactment.

Poppy was green with jelly when she saw I ate it all...she even brought the empty dish from the den, through the kitchen and into the living room.  

Pop thats what you get for going squirrel hunting first.

But momma!

I hungries!

Anyhoo we got our scritches, our kisses and we headed home.  This was the scene.  I was plum wore out and in a kibble-coma.  But was surrounded and comforted by my chews!

Healing and Finishing my Meds

 Momma took some updated pictures of my wounds.  My leggie is doing well.  

My chin has one healed spot but one spot still has a scab.  

I have officially finished all my medications and have quite enjoyed getting canned food twice daily.  I will miss that...but if I give momma my sad face I bet she will give in.

3 Chihuahua Show Down at Walmart Curbside

 Whew buddy...there was one noisy chihuahua in the truck next to us at the walmart grocery pick up.  We had a grand ol time letting our chihuahua heritage out and bork back at him.  Heres how it went.
