Practicing With Camera Settings

Momma's been fiddling with the camera settings in order to better capture my jumps and fast motion self.  First attempt.

Second attempt.

Final Attempt today.  This one was nicely in focus and would ya look at them paws.  Too cute!  Momma write this setting down.  It seems to be the best.

Last but not least Poppy wanted to try.  SUPER POPPY!  Fly!

We are on the right track.  But as long as there are treats offered I am happy to be the fast motion model.

Exploring Lucy Park

It was a sunny 70 degree day Momma came home from work, grabbed us, grabbed our leashes and said we are going on an adventure.  We stopped at Lucy Park.  Not named for me but I whole heartly love it!

 Oh Lucy look at all this land to run on!  Its like 100 times bigger than our back yard.

Back to sniffing.

As we were getting ready to leave I sat down for a moment to scratch and itch and my bum bum got all dirty.  Luckily it mostly came off with a good shake.  Momma did have to help me pick out some sticker burrs.

I was promised snow now where is it

The weather person was promising an inch of snow and we were smack dab in the middle of the pretty blue portion.  :)

Yet when I awoke...no snow.  Where is my snow Mr. Weather Person?

Momma said we got a "dusting" meaning like 2 flakes.  I searched the yard...

....really well....

...and...

...nothing!

When we got in the car to run errands we did find this "dusting" momma spoke of. 

Tsk Tsk.  Mr. Weather Person you broke this poodles lil heart!

We Won The TX Lottery

We got a couple lottery scratchers...I originally thought they were something else...but thats not the point.  Anyhoo we let momma do the scratching and we won $3!!!!!!  Thats like a bazillion milk bones worth of paper monies.

We secured them in the puppy pack...

and headed to the store to cash them in.

That was easy peasy.  Monies are now secured in the puppy pack.

Then we are off to Petsmart....

...to buy out the store.

Handler Discrimination Case

I had been keeping my glove in a plastic bag.  I feared it would get a hole poked in the bag from being tossed in mommas purse when we go out to practice or tossed in my diaper bag.  So we found an airtight case for safekeeping.  We also got some cotton balls for when we are ready to move up to advaced HD.   On the top we have a laminated card with my info on it in the event my case is ever lost.  *paw on wood* that never happens.

On the bottom we put a scent work nose sticker.

All filled up and ready for practice.

Earning My NTD - My First Title - In My Own Poppy-fied Way

Around the house (or even at Doggy Nanny's house) I know my tricks....all of them.  I quite enjoy doing them because I get lots of cuddles, praise and num nums.   Every time we would get close to scheduling with the evaluator  momma would get nervous.  Then in turn I would freak out and refuse to do tricks.  Not to mention just thinking out all the peoples and dogs that would be around making me nervous....ya know they would all be totally suspicious!   I am not bomb proof like Lucy.  Maybe one day but definitely not today!  A few weeks ago momma heard about "Do More with Your Dog" in a dog training group on Facebook.  Pawrents can film their tricks for evaluation online by a Spark Evaluator (CDI) and earn the title.  Titles from DMWYD are recognized by AKC so it would transfer and I would have letters after my name in both registries.  This way momma and I could both be at ease and show off my trick skills.  Without further ado....Here is my video:

We filmed, edited and uploaded 1-1-2020.  After it was uploaded we shared it to "Take a Chance Novice Trick and Canine Condition Spark Team" group on facebook.  CDI Tess Starr reviewed my video and had this to say:
