Lil Bit of This and a Lil Bit of That

The new house is looking and feeling like home.

 Our stuff is all around.

We have a Camera Corner.  Complete with its furry own outlet to charge batteries.  Simply fantastic!

Most of our day is spent in the yard running...

...snoopervising and watching for squirrels.

We went to grab lunch one afternoon and this occurred in the car.  No context....momma just looked over and saw this scene.  BOL we like to keep her entertained even when she is driving.

Although there has been a lack of squirrels there have been many birds flying over our yard.

They are fun to watch.  They just glide through the air.

When mommas at work there is a lot of commotion outside our kitchen window which is great.  Atmos is replacing all the gas meters in our alley and we get to watch them work.

We see lots of hoomans each and every day.  Sometimes they even come sit by our window for their breaks.  Our little house provides shade for them during these hot days.

We will be back blogging regularly now.  Lifes been terribly crazy with the move, work and "momma stuff".

Destruction Makes For A Tired Poodle

The other day we were visiting Doggy Nanny and this little bit of a mess happened.

Momma then noticed I was simply worn out and overcome with exhaustion.

Yep I destroy and then I nap!

Making the House into a Home

Now that the bulk of our stuff is here we have to start getting stuff put away.

Once the cabinets were opened I hopped right into action.

Checking for leaks.

Nothing found.

We got some decor up.

Fridge magnets arranged.

After all that I was plum tuckered out.

Once momma got some sheets out poppy joined me for a siesta!

New House, New Collars and New Tags

Ok...they may not be new collars and tags but they are different.   Now that we do not have to have super secure collars for potty breaks we are going to be changing our collars regularly.  #possibilitiesareendless

Poppy's Play Yard - Yard Tour

Welcome to the play yard!

We have lots of room to sniff, run and play.

Is that a sisfur I spy trying to sneak up on me.

Hun, yous bout 17 lb away from hiding in the grass!

Anyhoo back to what I was saying.  Our new play yard is simply perfect.  Lots of room, trees, and grass.

Up by the door we have our glider and a chair/table set.  I foresee many photo shoots here.

For evenings we do have twinkle lights.

But haven't been out much in late evenings due to the hot weather.

We got an outdoor trash can and did splurge to get the one with the Texas flag on it to match our fence decor.  Its the texan thing to do of course.

Over at the far end of the fence there is a secret passage way.  Legend has it there are chatty chihuahuas that live in here.  So far nothing has been seen.  Ill just have to keep patrolling.

At night we do get little visitors.  So far we have seen two.  Haven't named them just yet.

We go out so much that when indoors we basically crash!

Night Night friends!

Moving Day

We got a power nap from 4 to 6 am Saturday night and were awoken by thunder.  Our hearts sank.  How can we move in the rain?  Luckily the mover had an enclosed trailer and we were good to move!

Off we go across the highway to the new house.

We parked the Murano Mobile in our own private drive.

First load is in.

Loads 2, 3, 4 and 5 all went smoothly.

Then we got to exploring.

Wow theres a ton of room in here!

Lets get these boxes unpacked so we can relax.

Boxes are up....onto the internets!

Poppy took lead on this project.  We were up and running in about 5 minutes.

Good work team!!!

The Final Night At The Harrison

Saturday night we didn't sleep a wink.  We were up till 4 am getting out "Daily Use" items squared away.

We followed momma step for step and box for box.

Everything was in piles all over the apartment.

Items were stuck anywhere they would fit.

Now that we are down to the final items....Its kind of sad.  Lucy and I have lived here at the H Complex longer than anywhere else.  Kind of sad to see it come to an end but it was our time to move.  God surely put all the puzzle pieces right in front of us.  So for the last time in this kitchen from our crate built for two....So Long Harrison Apartments.
