The sculpture located on the trail was done by Jack Stevens and features a Comanche family crossing the Wichita River. It depicts two braves, a woman, a child, their horses and a colt in the Wichita River. The woman is testing the water depth and true to the legend it is "waist-deep" which is how "Wee-Chi-Tah" is translated.
Just up the hill sits a mare and her foal.
Alright my work here is done. See ya!
Smooches,
Lucy
