The Day It Flooded!

 Before our nap it was a nice  bright sun shine day.  

Then we were awoke to the sound of sirens.  

At first we thought it was a police chase.

Then it stopped....started again...and stopped.

I told mother to check the weather app.

Sure enough sever thunderstorm and tornado warning just north of us.

Pop crawled in mothers shirt.

Rain pelted the windows.

On all sides.

The back yard started flooding.

The street was flooded.

Poppy panicking on how we would get out with all this rain.

Pop the waters up to the hub caps we aint going no where.

Once the rain stopped we looked outside and had probably 3+ inches in the back yard of standing water. 

ewww

After a few hours it all went away but it was a muddy mess.  10/10 dont recommend flooding.
