This will be posted post move but here is the full moving series. The old landlords granddaughter is coming home to go to college. They are helping her with costs and going to allow her to live in the back house...so that means we have to move. We were devastated.
But no time to cry now...we had to start researching. We found lots of places.....Most didn't accept dogs or were so expensive that there was no way it would work with mommas budget. Momma was getting discouraged and feared she might have to rehome some of us. Or let Doggy Nanny take us for a while. She said that ate at her insides like nothing else. We found one place on Minnetaska....but it had no fenced yard but it was our best bet so far. Then one after noon she was on zillow and saw a house that looked like a possibility a little rear house with a fenced yard but the rental people wouldn't answer her calls.

After a few days and many unanswered calls, god spoke to her and said call from the work phone and the office picked up immediately. She said they just reduced the rent (already affordable but now more so), 3 tiny pups (as long as they are vaccinated and licensed) were ok, and the deposit fees werent bad at all. Momma texted the old land lords (who let us our of our lease early)....doggy nanny (who helped us all along the way)....talked to miss m (who helped us all along the way) and set up a tour during her lunch hour. The house seemed fine...there were some dead wasps...but the house wasn't as important as the fenced yard and the ability to bring us all! Nice shaded yard. It was a sealed deal. Right then and there she said yes to the house and once back at work she filled out the paperwork and sent over documents to seal the deal.

She did multiple drive-bys too. The yard is always shady...Not a lot of traffic (albiet more than the alley). And lots of woodland creatures to bork at. We are calling it the Yorkie house. It was a sign.
Once we officially singed papers and put deposits down momma spent a whole weekend packing. I stayed outside and just supervised.
She was deep cleaning crates and moving them about.
One crate was on the bed....the diaperbag was full...gear everywhere.
Then she spotted the collar collection....It had to be packed next.
Cora took her toys outside to ensure they were not packed yet.
Poppy prepacked herself in her crate to ensure she wasnt left behind.
Once night fell we thought momma would stop the packing.
We were wrong!
She doubled down and filled one of our crates with blankies.
She also packed everything in the kitchen.
Down to her reusable straws.

Bags started.....
.....piling up.
The doggy cabinet was emptied.
Can you believe she said we only get one collar, leash and harness till the move is over? I can't do that momma.
I can't handle this Im getting covers and hiding till its over.
One Saturday we did a drive by to see the neighborhood.
Here is the "Yorkie" house!
There are two doggies across the street and we will have big windows to watch them through. Our current house has no windows. I think we are gonna be happy here.
When momma picked up the keys we found a door tag. There was a leak inside the house. Luckily we havent moved in yet and the rental company is getting it fixed.
After the water was fixed she said we could move a few items over and grab the keys. So we did a little house tour.
Big windows for watching.
Nice wood paneling.
Momma got excited she has a bathroom with a door. I guess its the small things in life right.
We sniffed every inch.
Yard was scopped out. Lots of squirrel smells here. We will have our work cut out for us. I, Lily, did experience some itchy paws....but momma said its prob the new tree and we can fix that.
We approve.
I mean its ok.....
....And if this is where my foods going Ill go too.
Look at these windows. We have 4 just for us. And they are huge!
Yea yea!
Itchy...
...Scratchy.
Mr DL came to give us a quote. He was super nice. I member him from our move from the H to the Village. BOL.

Fast forward a couple days.
We had the door open while momma continued packing.
One evening I felt weird. Momma almost took me to the dogtor...but I snapped out of it. I think it was moving jitters.
One evening she came home scooped us up and said we are going to the new house.
We got more yard time.
If you look closely at this pic you will see that cora is on the wrong side. Momma didn't even realize till she looked back at the pic.
Once back inside we were happy here.
We are excited about the move.
Im ready to live here.
Can we stay tonight? No...yea no beds is a bummer.
Can we go home and eat suppers?
yes?
Oh boy!!!!
Oh yea we forgots to say why we came over for a quick spur of the moment trip.
Miss M and Mr R helped momma get a new ac unit installed. Shes been worried sick over if we would have adequate air.
This one blows straight cold!!!! Oh my goodness I cant believe these windows will be our new entertainment system.
Anyhow once home we had suppers and it was mighty good.

Moving Day, April 1st, No Joke, came awful early. Momma stripped the bed, threw the remaining charging cords in the bag and tossed us in the car. We had to run to the new house to let the bug man in to spray.
Then DL the mover showed up at the old place and started packing.
We waited here for everyone to meet up.
Doggy Nanny, Aunts B, Aunt S and Aunt Gracie showed up.
Then we heard a rumble of a u haul.
Its Mr DL.
Yep thats our stuff.
I am ready to get in.
Oh our kennels and diaperbag.
Once everything was in our visitors came in to see the place. There was junk everywhere. But we are officially home.
That concludes the moving portion. Next wait till you see our new home adventures.
