The Monday-est Of All Monday's

We got up early as it seemed hot in the apartment.  Which is strange as we normally keep the ac at a crisp 60.  We looked at the termostat and it read 67....oh my dog!  No wonder.  The temps outside were already in the mid 70's and this was 6 am.  They were forecast to hit the 90's.

Then momma went in the bathroom and there was water trickling down from the ceiling. Something must be leaking upstairs again.

Then as we were walking to the door to go outside we stepped in water.  It appeared something was leaking under the fridge.  It completely soaked our dog bed and momma had to toss it.  :(

She nearly lost it that morning but somehow held it together.  I got her to play tricks wif me that usually helps.

So after cleaning up everything and taking care of us she was able to get ready for work.

Once at work she called the maintenance man and told him everything that was wrong.  They said there was one ac unit ahead of us and that they would get to us as quickly as they could.  Momma called doggy nanny to rescue us.  She was worried with temps going to the 90's it would be far too hot for us.  Right at noon Doggy Nanny arrived to save us.  The maintenance man helped her load us up and off we went to Day Care.  We did have to make a pit stop cause when nature calls for Lucy its an immediate situation and well lets just say as soon as her paws hit the grass it was all over.  BOL

We had fun romping and playing all afternoon.  Then a little after 5 momma came to pick us up.  Just like the old days!

Smooches,
Lucy and Poppy

Pupdate: as we got home we checked everything out and all was well.  Maintenance said he found no leak under the fridge and to monitor it.  The bathroom leak was from a leak the upstairs tenant had last week and some water just made its way to our apartment.  He cleaned it up but will have to come back to make it pretty another day.  Last but NOT least we cranked the ac down to a respectable 60 degrees and boy that cold air came rushing out of the vents  and we all sighed in relief.  By 9 the apartment was meat locker chic again and life was good!
