2017 Goat Work

Momma works part-time for Dr. Flanary doing the newsletter, facebook, typing projects and Goat Work.  What is goat work you may ask.  Well the goats Dr. Flanary has are furry special.  They are registered, similarly to dogs with the AKC, but hers are TRIPLE registered.  How cool is that?  So what happens is each spring as the goats are born and sold momma gets a list of registered babies to make papers for and this year is my first year helping.  I make sure she keeps all the registration numbers in order and each ones papers are labeled correctly.  Here I am with mommas "Goat Binder".  Momma says I am a great lil helper.

If you want to see Dr. Flanarys herd you can hop over to her website by clicking here.   Then select "Nigerian Dwarf Goats" from the Animal tab.  She has goats of every color and some of them even have moon spots.  Those are my favorite! #68 is my pick for this years cutest goat kid.  Just look at those adorable moon spots on his back.

This year we have done goat work on 55 kids!  Now they are all getting ready to make the big journey to their new homes.  Good Luck little ones!!!

Lucy
