We were scrolling on fb market place and came across a post for a small limited edition purple ruffland. It had been used only once.
Momma got super excited but felt it was foolish. I mean yea we are two dogs why do we need three kennels. But it would really be a pink and purple set which would be our colors. Then the green would be a permanent house kennel. See problem solved.
We asked how far the kennel was and it was all the way on the far side of dallas. But the seller just happened to be at a dog show on the West side of Fort Worth like 3 hours closer. It seems it was meant to be. We mapped it out and settled on Sunday as the meeting day after the show. Found a spot right off the highway to meet up.
We decided to nap till it was time to leave.
Before we knew it the clock struck 330 and we headed out. Car selfie.
I felt the urge to be silly....

The drive up was so nice. 70s but ice cold ac on in the car.
We saw like 500 million cows.
We noticed it was getting dark to the north west. We missed a big hail storm back home while on the drive out.
Are we there yet?

OH MY DOG its the FORT WORTH water tower!
We found one spot to sniff and take a pee break.
Momma thought it was not that safe being so close to the road.
So she loaded up Poppy and we headed down just a ways and found this little area.

One last message.
Then we got the text the person was on her way over to the meeting spot. And just like that we were in possession of the purplyest small ruffland kennel we have ever seen. We paid and hit the highway.
The drive home was good until we ran into the second line of storms. It rained so hard momma could hardly see. She said it was super stressful but everyone on the high way was super slow and had their flashers on so we just went about 20 mph.
Momma squealed with excitement when the rain let up and we saw this sign. We HOME!
We put Coras name tag on it and set it atop my pink kennel. Oh would ya look at that! Its so perfect!!!!!
