Dog Sport Notebook

A few weeks ago momma began building me a sport notebook.  On the front I have a page of title goals I would like to achieve with the AKC.  The first one is already met.  I got my S.T.A.R. Puppy in May 2017.  Next I am working on Trick Dog.

So right now that is what the notebook is filled with Trick Dog Title information.  On the AKC's website they have an "Evaluator Guide" for the Tick Dog Titles.  It lists the title levels, requirements, and trick description for each level.

I have my official trick list in the side pocket.  As we add new tricks we create an entry line, put the level it counts towards,  if its completed (meaning I can do it on cue every time with no treat if need be), and a notes section for momma.  Now we (and by we I mean momma) will not forget to practice each one individually.

I will add more sport info/sections as we start practicing them.  One sport I think would be fun is Rally-Obedience.  Its like traditional obedience but more relaxed with some agility mixed in for us pups!  Last but not least, on the back the life size portrait my mom printed a few weeks back.

  2. What a wonderful idea Lucy. That makes it easy to keep track of all your training. I did not know about the trick title - I will have to have mom look into it. I think you would really like Rally Obedience! Did you know that in November they are adding an Intermediate Rally title that is in between novice and advanced. Still on leash but some harder stations than novice.
    Good luck with your tricks!!!
