The Day I Got Left Home Alone

 Twas a sad November day.  Lucy had an appointment for her drug trial and was picked up at lunch.  Leaving me all alone.  

I was furry sad.

I cried.

I screamed.

I howled.

But they didn't come back for me!  

I finally cried myself to sleep.
