Jury Duty; It's Hardest on the Dogs

Well, this jury duty business is not much fun for us!  Momma was waking us up when it still dark outside.  We were forced to do our business in the cold, dark AND rain.  TWO DAYS IN A ROW!  Then what happened next is hard to type out....She walked out the door and left us!  Home alone!  Shivering and sad!  I'm tearing up just thinking back on it.  Thankfully Doggy Nanny came to rescue us Monday.

When momma came to pick us up she told us of her adventure in the court system.  Mostly it was just a lot of waiting, listening to court rules and more waiting.

Tuesday momma got recessed for "reasons beyond control of the court".

So she came home to get us soon after she finished up with court house paperwork.

For Wednesday she checked the jury call back website and found out her attendance was not required.  We all sighed in relief.  We finally get to sleep in.

Thursdays check of the website revealed that her Jury Duty service was officially over.  Whew!

All we have to say bouts this is Jury Duty is not fun.  And the courts need to start at a later time say noon not 8:45 AM.  Just a suggestion.
